How long does back liposuction takes to heal?

You should be well over the discomfort from liposuction several months after the procedure. I would be curious to know whether or not the liposuction was assisted by laser or ultrasound As this occasionally leads to chronic pain problems.

Hi Lily, several months is a pretty long time for the pain to still persist following liposuction. Typically the pain and the discomfort might last for about a month or less. Energy sources such as ultrasound can produce prolonged symptoms due to hyperaesthesias post op.This can result in pain out of proportion to the cause, pins and needle sensations, burning or creepy sensations like "something crawling under the skin". WIthout an exam in person it is difficult to say . But I would suggest seeing your surgeon who performed the liposuction to review your concerns.
