How long does back liposuction takes to heal?

It's going to be months since had liposuction on my stomach and my back, but my back still hurts a lot every time I lay on my back or try to get up from the bed. It feels like if I stretch my skin crack open!! Someone please give me give an answer!!

You should be well over the discomfort from liposuction several months after the procedure. I would be curious to know whether or not the liposuction was assisted by laser or ultrasound As this occasionally leads to chronic pain problems.

Hi Lily, several months is a pretty long time for the pain to still persist following liposuction. Typically the pain and the discomfort might last for about a month or less. Energy sources such as ultrasound can produce prolonged symptoms due to hyperaesthesias post op.This can result in pain out of proportion to the cause, pins and needle sensations, burning or creepy sensations like "something crawling under the skin". Do visit your surgeon if it's still bothering you, I am sure he will be able to help. All the best.

WIthout an exam in person it is difficult to say . But I would suggest seeing your surgeon who performed the liposuction to review your concerns.
