Retention of fluid after any surgical procedure is normal. As swelling decreases this fluid will be mobilized eliminated accompanied by weight loss.

Thank you for your pictures. Unfortunately I do not believe this will resolve. It looks like you have numerous areas that may have been suctioned too close to your skin to produce these contour issues. Seek second opinion consultation regarding your result and potential correction.

It's impossible to say whether the situation will totally resolve but it's much too early to worry. As swelling subsides the irregularities should improve. At the end of healing which will be a number of months any excess skin will have to be accepted or excised.

Occasionally the Mons can harbor excess of fat. This can be treated with liposuction fairly easily often with local anesthesia only.

There are quite a few methods of fat removal available and it all comes down to the skill and training of the individual doing it.  This means that you can often see a great job with a less effective method or a poor result with the best method.  I personally love the tumescent method...
