It is possible to do Gingivectomy and/ or crown lengthening and additive veneers to create that look. 10-12 teeth for a full smile.I would rather see you grow your maxilla orthopedically with the DNA Appliance first ant then finish with Veneers for the best long term results. Both methods can give you a full wide smile
I just did a case just like yours on a friend. Couple of things to keep in mind one you can do a new smile preview of what you would look like after everything called a new smile preview that ive attached. But youre not only going to need gum surgery but a different type of surgery called crown lengthing (literally meaning to lengthen the crown of your teeth to make them longer). Then have the veneers placed. I would wait about 4-6 weeks after the surgery to have the veneers finally placed because your gums will heal and could need a slight touch up. Hopefully this helps
Hi:You would need full clinical exam and xrays to get precise advice, however, one choice could be either gingivectomy or crown lengthening to remove part of the gum and place porcelain veneers to create longer bigger teeth.
You can only make the teeth as long as your bite allows, which wouldn't be much longer than what you have now. But you might be a candidate for gingivectomy, removing some of the gum tissue to expose more tooth. Once that's healed, you can explore the option of veneers if you're still unhappy with the length, shape, and shade.
Based on the photos, you appear to be a good candidate for gingivectomy (remove excess gum tissue), and porcelain veneers to improve color, shape and harmony of your teeth. Seek an experienced cosmetic dentist who has great photos and reviews.
It is possible for you to have a beautiful, bold smile! You already have a wide smile area to work with. Sometimes teeth need a little help to fully come into their proper shape and size. Removing some of your extra gum (gingivectomy) and adding porcelain veneers (customized thin veneers that bond directly to your natural teeth) on the outside to lighten, enlarge and harmonize all your teeth is a perfect solution. Further, it appears you have some lower teeth that are crowded. I like the idea of slightly enlarging your upper and lower arches. Invisalign will both straighten your teeth and ultimately expand the extent and fullness of your smile. All of this might take 6mo - year and can completely fulfill your dream of a beautiful, bold, confident smile!
You are correct! Veneers will improve the size, shape, and color of your teeth however that won’t do much for the gummy smile...Gum recontouring will be the extra step needed to achieve your ideal smile outcome.. I recommend having a complete smile assessment and design completed so you can visualize the beautiful end result!
If you were diagnosed with periodontal disease, then you must have your periodontal disease treated first before ANY veneer or cosmetic work done. Your canine #11 is in a bad position for any cosmetic work to be successful. I'm afraid there is no easy way out to get you your...
I am so glad you are asking this question and seeking a conservative method of enhancing your smile!!!!! So many patients have gotten standard veneers which require drilling away of healthy enamel when no-prep and minimal-prep veneers can be done instead.I have performed thousands of Lumineers ...
Hello and thank you for your question. The best way to answer this is with an in-person evaluation, but it sounds like you may need adjustments and your bite evaluated. I recommend getting a consultation with a Prosthodontist, who can give you the best options for improved comfort. A ...
