You absolutely can get veneers redone. We do something called a preview new smile that will allow you to see exactly what the new veneers look like. This way at least you can make an educated decision so that you get exactly the color, shape and size of the teeth perfect before any bur is touched to your teeth.

I would agree to to do invisalign first just to push the teeth in a little bit more and fix your bite.

Veneers are really dependent on the bite to make sure that the veneers dont pop off randomly.

Invisalign would be about $3000-5,000 and each veneer about 1500 so its definitely an investment but at the same time you want to make sure you make an educated decision. I see people who try to go overseas and then it gets messed up and they come back and spend even more money to fix the problem

I just did a case just like yours on a friend. Couple of things to keep in mind one you can do a new smile preview of what you would look like after everything called a new smile preview that ive attached. But youre not only going to need gum surgery but a different type of surgery called crown lengthing (literally meaning to lengthen the crown of your teeth to make them longer). Then have the veneers placed.

I would wait about 4-6 weeks after the surgery to have the veneers finally placed because your gums will heal and could need a slight touch up.

Hopefully this helps

I tend to disagree with the above doctor. Just because teeth have trauma you might not need to do crowns but veneers might do the trick because root canal teeth due tend to become darker after a period of time, but veneers are very minimally invasive with the new materials we have.

I like to do the front 4 teeth because the lab we use in NYC is amazing and it literally could transform your smile. I do a lot of veneers for a lot of patients in michigan and overseas and if you are going through ortho and then going to do treatment it might not be bad to see what all your options are.

We have a protocol that we do that is called a new smile preview where you can get a template of what your teeth would look like if you did do veneers so that wont cost you anything but some of your time to make sure you make the most educated decision.

I would have to totally disagree with the doctor above. We have a protocol for all patients not only to do a wax up but there is a way to take the wax up and make a preview smile template that goes in and the patient sees it in the chair of what the veneers would look like. Why do composite buildup and if you dont like it you have to walk out like that.

We do a wax up, then the template and we can always change that if the patient wants to make something shorter longer etc, plus the lab IS KEY!!

We use a lab in NYC called Jason Kim who does all celebrities from all over the world.  As a dentist who sees a lot of prominent city officials in the state and has people fly in the from the middle east this protocol has been proven to have very minimum risks and it makes the patient feel confident in their decision.

Why do my veneers come off?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

That is not normal. Sometimes one or so may pop out if your bite was not adjusted correctly but to have different ones falling out all the time means a couple of different things, but the only way to really tell is to see you and do an exam.

Ive only had a handful of the many cases have a problem but never multiple

So this is a GREAT question. Please do not be deceived when they say all on 4 is the end and nothing more can be done. Research done has shown all on 4 to be great thing for patients but if we can place 5 or 6 implants we then have fail safes incase an implant or two fail over the years. You're looking for something that can hopefully last you the rest of your life and give you back the quality of life you're seeking.

it should be ok for the most part. we do bone grafts and try to place the implant with in 4-6 months of the bone graft placement. The bone can still dissolve away over time but usually within 2 years if everything is ok you should be able to place the implant.

It can be corrected with braces, but not very likely in your situation. Having braces on the top teeth will do nothing to help improve the chin position. You can do fillers just like lips and we do that with patients to see what the result would look like.

there is a reversal agent you can have injected, but primarily you should not have to much discomfort if you were careful the day of the botox injections.
It does work great for migraines so i hope this has not put you off could just be the technique that your certain doctor is using. We do it all the time in my office with great success and minimal pain
