I am 8 days post liposuction and BBL. Fat was taken from back, arms and stomach. Still so much pain

Too early to judge on the final result. You are still at the healing stage. The area in your lower back will be still bruised and swollen and this will take 8-12 weeks to settle. Wear your garment and keep your follow up with your surgeon.You have to give your body at least 12 weeks to start seeing results and final results can take 3-6 months depending the way your body heals.

Every PS does things a little differently so definitely call your PS and ask all of these questions to get their recommendations. Lumps are normal after liposuction. They will go away or mostly go away if you wear your compression garment and start massaging as soon as you can tolerate it (daily yourself then professional lymphatic massage 1-2x/week for a few weeks followed by a few deep tissue massages).  Pain is very normal after this procedure. The pain medication just takes the edge off, they don't take the pain away. 8 days is very early. You will continue to swell up to ~14 days after surgery, then will start to shrink. You will not really appreciate the results until you are 6-8 weeks after surgery. On-going healing happens for 6 months or more. Pain can last months but does get better over time. I do not have my patients massage the areas where fat was placed only the areas where liposuction was done. Hard buttocks is normal. It will soften down over the first 3 months after surgery as it shrinks.
