I will be getting my bbl surgery in Mexico and returning back home at 11 days post-op. I plan to take a bbl pillow to sit on my thighs but even so, can the airplane ride (3 hour flight non-stop back home) negatively effect my results for that period of time that I will have to sit on the bbl pillow? Any airplane travel tips during post-op?

Answer: Surgery results Thank you for your question. If you are other wise following instructions and limiting how much you are sitting, a 3 hour plane ride should not really determine your end result. My main concern would be flying so quickly after surgery, because you can be at an increased risk for blood clots. I would discuss this with your surgeon and make sure they are in agreement and feel it is safe for you to fly after surgery. Good luck.

Answer: Can BBL results be effected sitting in the airplane for 3 hrs back home at 11 days post-op? I recommend my patients to start using the special BBL pillow two weeks after surgery. So, sit for short duration with the pillow (use for landing, taking off), walk around to increase circulation... consult your surgeon for post op instructions.
