Will the use of estrogen patches and progesterone increase photosensitivity and hyperpigmentation during laser hair removal?

Does the use of estrogen patches and cyclic progesterone to treat hypothalamic amenorrhea create a risk of hyperpigmentation from laser hair removal or increase photosensitivity? I'm probably skin type III, maybe borderline IV (especially in summer) with brown hair. I was told the Alex laser on Cynosure Elite would be good for me (but possible yag for bikini where skin is darker/purplish color). Does that sound right?
