Has anyone heard of Dr Ziya Saylan or Liposhifting?

Hi, I am considering having Liposhifting. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this technique? Or with Dr Ziya Saylan? Does it work? Are there any Drs in the US that can perform this procedure?

Sounds like a common marketing ploy, re-name a procedure, and say you revolutionized the technique. The most important factor regarding your liposuction procedure is your surgeon and his or her skill and experience, NOT the type of liposuction machine or special shifting technique being used! There are lots of slick ads promoting different machines and techniques promising to shrink skin and remote stretch marks and cellulite. However, buyer beware, as there are no reputable scientific studies demonstrating superiority of these machines over traditional liposuction machines! Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to give yourself the best chance for the result you desire. Good luck!

I've never heard of Lipo shifting. All liposuction in the end uses negative pressure to remove surplus fat sometimes pretreated with a laser or ultrasound.Something called Lipo shifting has been used to describe correction of contour abnormalities after primary liposuction.

Its just a term he used to attract patients to the website.  Liposhifting sounds like moving fat around for contour deformities.  Best of luck.

Liposhifting, per his website, is a method to reduce concavity in donor sites for fat transfer.  It did not appear to me to be anything revolutionary; as you may realize, many plastic surgeons give procedures unique names to draw attention. Also, with a skilled operator, patients should not develop concavity.

always consult a board certified plastic surgeon. There are many individuals out there who will promise the earth but are very short on delivery. I do not know this doctor personally nor professionally.
