About 6mos-1year after 4 rounds of IPL (2.5 yrs ago), I began noticing decrease in collagen/elastin and orange peel texture. It's like my dermis layer has been dehydrated and tortured. I never had bad acne- now I have this awful texture on my skin- it's so frustrating. While I understand IPL typically doesn't affect skin this way- each patient is unique and the only catalyst for such a change in my texture was the IPL. What's happening w/ my skin? Is this the beginning of rhinophyma on my nose?
