I had a functional implant removed after it was shifted without a plan to replace it because I did not know I could simply shift it back into place & did not discuss this possibility with my surgeon. It was never infected or rejected. (I have thick skin.) My nose is now crooked & the nose is sagging, causing facial pain & throbbing. I'm 3 months post op & my nose is swollen in the mornings, but I worry I am making things worse by waiting to address these issues.
