How does it feel after getting lipo and bbl? How long is the surgery?

Thank you for your question. Most BBL procedures take at least two to three hours to complete but may take longer. After a Brazilian butt lift procedure the recovery is typically a week or two. During this period, patients may notice bruising and tenderness in the areas where liposuction was performed. Most patients are able to return to work one week after the procedure. Swelling and bruising are common after BBL in the liposuction areas. Most patients resume light daily activities in a few days, and return to work in about a week (no heavy lifting). Surgery usually lasts about 3 hours. Seek a plastic surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field.

in my practice, a bbl typically takes between 2 and 3 hours, and most patients are back to work within a week.

The surgery time can vary. My BBL's usually take about 2 1/2 hrs to perform and most can go back to light duty within a few days.

These are great questions and ones you should ask to your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon during your consultation. Every patient is unique and different, so some experience more discomfort than others and surgeons are different and use different techniques resulting in more or less bruising and discomfort.
