In good shape but would like to flatten belly and flanks a bit. Have had CoolSculpting done which worked, although my skin became loose and squishy afterwards. I may have fat transfer done and would guess abdomen would be source for fat, so don't want to take away too much fat just in case. Any thoughts?
Answer: Vanquish or Emsculpt? Thanks for your good question. Vanquish and Emsculpt are both body contouring procedures, but they work in very different ways. Vanquish uses radiofrequency to heat and melt fat cells, eliminating stubborn areas of fat. Emsculpt focuses on tightening and toning the muscles but doesn’t offer much fat reduction. The right procedure for you will depend on your specific goals. I encourage you to meet with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist with extensive experience in body contouring for an in-person assessment and treatment recommendations catered to your precise needs.

Answer: Vanquish vs. EMSculpt for Abdomen EMSculpt is the only treatment which will reduce fat and build muscle. We have found the results to be more consistent than vanquish. CoolSculpting remains the best treatment for non-surgical fat reduction. You would need an in-person consultation and evaluation to determine which treatment would be best for you. Make sure you see an experienced physician provider. Best wishes.

Answer: Coolsculpting Non-Surgical Fat Removal -- Combine with Vanquish/truSculpt/Exilis/Cellutone // vs. VASER HI-DEF Liposculpture You can use Coolsculpting with Vanquish ("Fire & Ice") to get small areas of fat reduced. You can achieve skin tightening as well if you combine this with truSculpt iD, Exilis Ultra or Venus Legacy radiofrequency treatments. We also combine Coolsculpting with radiofrequency and shock therapy like ZWave and Cellutone to get even faster results, more improvement, and less risk of combinations like nodules, swelling, neuropathy or paradoxical hyperplasia. However, Coolsculpting often takes a few treatments separated 8 to 12 weeks apart to get significant improvement. A VASER HI-DEF liposuction/liposculpture procedure with ThermiRF, Renuvion, and InMode BodyTite may be needed to give more contouring, fat removal, skin tightening and definition. This method would give you the most toned, sculpted result, and we could address any loose or sagging skin at the same time.I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with an body contouring expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Vanquish or EMSculpt? Vanquish and EMSculpt work very differently. Vanquish can reduce the subcutaneous fat in some patients while EMSculpt targets the muscle layer, minimizing about 20% of the fat while improving the tone and bulk of the underlying muscle. Vanquish does not treat the muscle layer at all, and in our experience was a little hit or miss on the amount of fat reduction. I would consider having your fat transfer first, then consider EMSculpt to tighten and tone the underlying muscle.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Quintessa

Answer: Vanquish and Emsculpt Combination Therapy Thank you for your question. The Vanquish is a radio frequency device that targets fat cells and permanently destroys them. Whereas the Emsculpt device builds muscle by contracting your muscle, which is equivalent to 20,000 sit ups. In our office, we have had great success with our patients having a combination of both treatments. Not only are you getting rid of fat cells in the area being treated but also tightening the area by building muscle. I would recommend consulting with a Board-Certified Dermatologist before deciding to have a fat transfer to determine if you are a candidate for the treatment.
