My doctor, who is board-certified, used this machine on me. He called it HIFU. I'm worried it's a fake machine. I couldn't find anything similar online, and this is the only picture I have of it. I can't remember the name of the brand. I'm really worried. Has anyone seen this machine before anywhere? Or one similar to it?

Ultherapy can be used in the FDA approved areas after knee replacement. At this time there are no FDA approved areas for Ultherapy near the knee. You should visit an office that is fully trained and approved to use Ultherapy.
In our 5+ years of Ultherapy experience, we've never had a case of Ultherapy induced burn. It is highly atypical reaction, although not inconceivable scientifically. As always, best to seek treatment options with your provider. Good luck!
