Consequences of overdoing after breast augmentation?

I had breast augmentation (under the muscle) two weeks ago. My question is whether the potential consequences (swelling, hematoma and implant displacement) have any visible signs? Do I feel and see immediately if I overdo and do something wrong or will these be seen only by my surgeon ? Many thanks for your answer

It is still very early into your healing and it can be up to one year see your final results. As you heal, it's not uncommon for #asymmetry as each breast heal quite differently. One breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial shape. After complete #healing, they will be more similar and natural. Meantime, your doctor may require you to move or massage the implants within the breast pockets during the #postoperative period. #Textured implants do not require breast massage. You will be informed about this at your post-operative visits. Any cosmetic #procedure has risks of unhappy outcome or other complications .It is difficult to determine if you are experiencing any possible #complications from online. In the meantime, you must have patience and if there are any causes of concern, ask questions of the doctor or the nursing staff. Moreover, it's suggested you see your doctor for an in-person #evaluation.

You should make an appointment with your plastic surgeon for an in person examination as the symptoms you are describing could indicate a number of things. More pictures would be helpful, but having your doctor examine you and prescribe further treatment is probably necessary. Good luck

The concern after surgery is the potential for a hematoma to develop when a patient goes back to strenuous activity too soon.

Thank you for your question and congratulations on your surgery!  There will be normal swelling and bruising after your surgery.  Please keep in mind that it will take approximately 6 months to see the final appearance of your breasts.  During your recovery period, it is important to stay in close contact with your plastic surgeon and to follow his or her postprocedure instructions in terms of activity restrictions and possible use of compression garments.  Warning signs of a potential problem would include increasing pain, redness or swelling.  Should you notice any of these signs, please see your plastic surgeon right away for an in-person examination to determine the best course of action.  Best wishes!
