Is a breast reduction suitable from a d cup to a b cup?

size 32 each 100 grams of removal corresponds to 1 cup size change.To go from a D to a B would require 200 grams
removal.This amount is very small and
will not be covered by insurance policies.Since you have lost weight and your breasts did not go down, then most
likely you have breast tissue called parenchyma and not fat.Fat can be liposucted easily but breast
tissue cannot.Undergoing a 200 grams

Congratulations on your weight loss. Conceptually, this is a very reasonable request. You would need to be examined by a board-certified plastic surgeon to see whether not this operation is beneficial to you and to look at the range of results as well as your final outcome of surgery.

Breast reduction is a very effective procedure with a high rate of patient satisfaction.  Patients with enlarged breasts often have trouble finding clothing that fits their body, experience back, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, arm numbness, shoulder grooving and rashes under the breasts.  In severe cases it can cause skin breakdown and infections.  Enlarged breasts can also be very limiting in terms of physical activities, exercise and cause body image concerns.  Fortunately breast reduction surgery is very effective in alleviating many of these issues.  There are several techniques that vary  how the procedure is done and how much scarring of the breast you are left with . The two most common techniques are the inferior pedicle wise pattern reduction and the vertical short scar superior medial pedicle technique. Yes, reduction from a D to a B is completely reasonable and you should see a board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation.  The bad news, however, is that a reduction of that volume may not be covered by health insurance.

As there are no standard sizes, no one can ever guarantee  you a size, but talk to a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your wishes, you can  be made smaller and you can see photos of other patients to get an idea of how you could look.

It really depends what they look like. In general, it is very difficult to reduce them to a "B" and also maintain a good shape. The nipple areola and the skin flaps need enough tissue to support a good blood supply so that they can heal well.   Best to be seen in person.
