How soon after otoplasty is it ok bend the ears?

Question

I had otoplasty a little over six months ago. Both cartilage reduction and placement of permanent sutures to enhance the antihelical fold were done. When is it generally safe to bend the ears forward and twist and pull the ears like they do at the barbershop?

After 6 months of healing, you should be able to treat your ears as you would normally.  By now, you should be completely healed but of course ask your barber to be gentle.

If you had your otoplasty 6 months ago, you can subject your ears to all the movements that an ear would encounter in normal daily life again, including the movements at the barbershop.

Do not need to twist , pull the ears with or without ottoplasty. Having your haircut/ ask the stylist to be gentle
