Temple augmentation with hydroxyapatite, too good to be true? Desperate for second opinions!

I am interested in a temple augmentation. I have found a single surgeon in Europe who does this. He uses BIOMET 3i’s Endobon Xenograft Granules which is a bovine-derive hydroxyapatite grafting material. I don't know if other surgeons know this material. He said once the external wounds healed there is no danger of infections and the bone grows through the graft. Is that true? Can't my body still reject the material after years? I am also scared of the material dissolving over time. Experiences?
