Hi @newyorkgurl78! There are different options including PDO threads, dermal fillers, and Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
I believe the sagging skin is related to volume loss and not related to actual sagging skin. I would recommend some fillers to help restore volume particularly underneath the eyes (tear troughs), cheek area, and the laugh lines (Nasolabial folds). I would recommend using Restylane for the eyes and cheeks and Juvederm Ultra for the laugh lines. The end result is that the face should look lifted. Please be sure to go an experienced and skilled injector who is well versed in all types of fillers and areas.
Usually when I see a younger patient with sagging, it's usually because of weight loss or because they are underweight and so they don't have much fat in the compartments of the face. This can easily be corrected using a volumizing filler such as Juvederm Voluma, Restylane Lyft, Sculptra, or Radiesse. My preferred fillers for this are Voluma or Sculptra. In your case, based on the photo you have provided, I would probably use Voluma in the midface and Juvederm UltraPlus around the mouth. I recommend you see an experienced injector to come up with a treatment plan.
Generally speaking, fillers do not tend to be useful in improving the appearance of "ice pick" acne scars. Laser resurfacing, depending on the depth of the acne scars and the depth of penetration that is available with certain lasers, can help improve the quality of these scars and re-texturize...
Hi, the use of cánulas may reduce the risk of hematomas in your condition. As with any patient, cannulas provide a safer approach to the use of fillers, reducing their already low risk
Your muscles of facial expression are quite active in thesmile lines. My suggestion is to use a dermal filler to soften the shadow areasalong the smile line. Micro needling with PRP (platelet enriched plasma) willlikely help as well. I would suggest you do the latter first then after...
