Got a hair transplant about 10 months ago, about 2000 grafts at the front of the head. I'm looking for more density. Would micropigmentation be a good option for this particular case? Or should I just do a second hair transplant?
Answer: Hair Loss -- PRP, Progesterone, Stem Cells/ACELL, Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUE), Spironolactone or Finasteride, Rogaine For hair regrowth, I suggest the following to my patients: Start Theradome now (see link) and in office PRP/acell, you can do early transplant if you want. You need a formal evaluation to see what type of hair loss you may have. when you have hair loss its best to do a full hormonal workup for internal optimization plus scalp biopsies or scrapings to rule out any stress related, inflammatory, autoimmune or infectious causes of hair loss. In general most people with early hair loss have telogen (stress related) and/or androgenetic (normal aging) and both can be treated with in office treatments like steroid injections, PRP/acell, Exosomes and at home treatments like oral medications, oral vitamins like Viviscal, topical exfoliating sprays like Restorsea, and weekly growth factors like anteagemd. See an expert for an evaluation. If hair loss is significant it may requires hair transplant (follicular unit translation) Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: 10 Month Result Thank you for sharing your photos. The result looks on track for 10 months and the final result won't be appreciated until the full 12 months. Before making any decisions, it's advised to wait for the final density. There still will be more maturing and density in the next few months. Given the fact that you have dark hair on lighter skin background, micropigmentation may be a great adjunct to the transplant.

Answer: Want more density: should I do a 2nd Hair transplant or Micro-pigmentation You should consider a second hair transplant. It will add density and provide a more natural-looking result.

Answer: Small retouch I would go for a small retouch, that will increase density, and won’t be that expensive, micropigmentation is a good option but will fade away with time and will have to pay again, and seems you have a lot of hair to give, although a retouch doesn’t need that many grafts

Answer: 2nd Hair transplant Absolutelly you may have a second touch up surgery with approx .1200- 1300 grafts FUE operation for increasing the density on frontal hair line and had a more natural wiev.. SMP would not work well on that area ..
