I have som facial trauma from a prior chin surgery where some of the retaining ligaments on the front right side were released. Now the chin pad on that side has lost its forward/ downward pull, making it look very off. It seems that it isn't possible to restore the ligaments, but I am wondering if it is possible to get some improvement with threads or other suture techniques? I am planning to have a custom chin implant to help even it out., but still wonder about repositioning the chin pad.
