Hi, when I smile my chin gets distorted, can I do anything to make it thinner / pointier for a more v shaped face, maybe kybella on the sides of my chin? I am 34 years old

For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. Facial aesthetic assessments are made with a face in a neutral expression not when smiling.
If you manipulate your face so it looks better in a dynamic position then it will most likely have a different impact when you’re not smiling.
We typically don’t treat facial aesthetics based on the appearance during facial expressions.
The exception is muscles of facial expression around the eyes which can be weakened with Botox.
