That is a pretty unusual outcome for neck liposuction. A plastic surgeon would have to really try to leave a lump of fat behind that’s probably thicker than your original fat layer was.
It just doesn’t make sense that this is fat that your surgeon forgot to take out.
Hematoma‘s are pretty self-explanatory and usually present with intense bruising draining with gravity and then that location would eventually lead to bruising on your chest.
This may be completely unrelated to your previous procedure though the procedure may have brought attention to that area.
It would be helpful to see before and after pictures to get an idea of how thick your fat layers were and to make sure there was nothing unusual in the area before the procedure.Kybella is a pretty inaccurate way of removing fat. If they inject too much you’ll end up with a Contouring regularity and if they don’t inject enough you’ll have to do it again and again. revising small areas under local anesthesia should be easy to do in an office setting but I suppose it does require some equipment and being comfortable doing awake procedures.
And needle biopsy it’s a good way to find out exactly what’s there and shouldn’t leave a significant scar.
I doubt radiographic evaluation like an ultrasound would do much but it can definitely differentiate liquid versus solid.
The only radiographic study that could potentially give an accurate information as an MRI and that may be a little overkill.
The neck heals well especially on the fair skin people and direct excision is not a completely wrong approach either.
In the end you’ll have to pick one of the doctors and let them do whatever they think is best based on their experience and background.
It’s hard to make a really good assessment without an examination and an in person conversation.
