Have a small umbilical hernia, can I get Emsculpt?

Must plastic surgeons have no issue doing liposuction in the presence of a moderate or small umbilical hernia.

Some perhaps more conservative providers or those who are a bit unsure of themselves may want patients to get the umbilical hernia repaired before having liposuction.

Personally I have no problem doing liposuction in the presence of an umbilical hernia.

Smart Lipo has no significant advantage over any other form of Liposuction.

Emsculpt temporarily strengthens muscles but does not reduce subcutaneous fat layers.

For those who have a substantial fat layer it is unlikely they will see the impact of Emsculpt since the ability to appreciate muscle definition requires having thin layer so fat.

For patients interested in changing their body I recommend not trying to figure out a plan of action on their own but instead relying on the education and years of practice by having in person consultations but local experienced board-certified plastic surgeons.

It makes little sense to spend money on procedures that are not appropriate or are treating the primary problem.
