Wondering if Emscult on the inner thigh would help my torn acl?

If the tear is very recent, I would avoid it because of the pulling. If it is at least 12 weeks old, then you should be able to do this treatment. However, please ask your orthopedic surgery who has examined you before doing any treatment.

For a torn ACL it is imperative that you focus on building strength in the muscles surrounding the knee which includes the hamstrings and the quadriceps. Emsculpt would be great at strengthening the muscles around the knee thus improving support of the knee. We had a patient who tore their ACL and had an 8% muscle deficiency in their quadriceps, however after 4 treatments of emsculpt on the quadricep the muscle was back to normal. Emsculpt can strengthen the inner thigh, however it will not help your torn ACL as much as the strengthening of the hamstrings or quadriceps will.

Hi Charming241101,Thanks for the question. Emsculpt treatment on the inner thigh will help strengthen the adductor muscles. It will not directly help with a torn ACL but it will strengthen the adductor muscles. Thanks for the question!

A torn ligament can only be improved by having the ligament surgically repaired.

Emsculpt may temporary Lee strengthen muscles but that has no impact on ligaments especially ligaments that are torn.

Orthopedic surgeons specializing in sports medicine typically have excellent surgical options for anterior cruciate ligament injuries.

I suggest consulting with a local sports medicine orthopedic surgeon or knee specialist in your community.
