Is it possible to have paradoxical adipose hyperplasia in only one treated area, out of many?

I've had many coolsculpting treatments done before, on my arms, stomach, flanks, back, etc, and I never had any problems. However, after my most recent treatment three months ago to my love handles, I am noticing a bulge in my right love handle at the front of my abdomen. It's becoming more noticeable as time goes on, and I suspect it is PAH, but I find it strange that only one treated area is being affected. Is this possible? My left love handle is unaffected.

It is possible to have pah in one specific treated area and other treated areas to be unaffected . Pah would be firm, the same size as the applicator used , but usually doesn’t occur until 4 months or later after the treatment session

While it is possible to have a reaction in only one out of many treated areas, you should definitely go see a doctor for an in person consultation. It is never good to self diagnose because it may not be what you think it is. Go see a doctor to confirm what it is before you start getting concerned!
