Can I get several new moles removed on stomach if I’m on 60mg Accutane?

Hi! I’ve always had a few moles on my body but recently, new ones have been popping up pretty fast. I’m fair and they’re pinkish. Not cancerous. I got them checked out. Is it normal to get new moles? I’m 31. I was wondering if I can get them removed by laser or any other way while I’m on my third month of accutane 60mg. I heard stories about scarring. I also had a breast augmentation 11 months ago and started accutane at 8 months post op so hopefully that’s okay too. I want skin tag removal too

Thank you for your question. A side effect of Accutane is an increase risk in scarring with any skin trauma to the skin including waxing, tattoos, piercings, laser therapy, surgeries, etc. I highly recommend waiting until after completing Accutane therapy before considering any type of skin procedures. I suggest consulting with your dermatologist managing your Accutane therapy regarding any further questions. Take care and good luck.
