Hello I had a bbl in 2023 I was diagnosed with breast cancer I lost a lot of weight like 30 pounds before being diagnosed I had a big butt but I lost a weight due to not having a appetite if I gained my weight back do you thank my butt will come back

The short answer is yes. Fat cells do not die when we loose weight. They simply get smaller. With time and aging we all tend to gain and loose fat in different areas. But generally speaking, gaining the weight back in a healthy way should give you back your results.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Fat that survives after a Brazilian butt lift behaves like any other fat in your body, so it shrinks when you lose weight and can enlarge again when you gain. That means some of the lost volume may return if you regain weight. However, weight does not return to the buttocks selectively. It usually goes to the abdomen, flanks and thighs first, so you may not get back the same shape. In your photos the skin of the lower buttock also looks looser than before, and skin that has been stretched does not always tighten again once the volume returns. I would not recommend gaining weight on purpose to restore the shape. Once your oncology treatment is complete and your weight is stable, a repeat fat transfer is the more predictable way to rebuild volume, and the timing of any surgery should be agreed with your oncologist.
