Hello, I’m in my late 30s and wanted to treat my accordion lines that are very noticeable when I smile. It’s really bothering me and I would like to address it. I currently do have dermal fillers, very subtle, Will hyperdiluted radiesse be a good treatment for that ? And is it okay to get while having voluma fillers on cheeks ?
Answer: Try SkinVive first Skivive is a skin booster that is HA based, and I love using this on my patients with similar concerns to yours. It temporarily helps to plump and hydrate the skin while minimizing the appearance of dynamic lines such as these. Radiesse is a more permanent option and would also work well but you are young and based off your photos, there is not enough of a volume deficient there for myself as the provider to jump to using Radiesse as a first line treatment for you.

Answer: Accordion Lines Thank you for your question. From this picture, it is very hard to see what you are concerned about but I will give you my answer for clients that have those types of lines. First, I asses the skin texture and laxity. If the lines are due to laxity, volume loss, or poor texture, I encourage some type of treatment to stimulate collagen. One way to do that is with collagen stimulating injectables like sculptra, ultra-dilute radiesse, or PDO smoothing threads. There are also a variety of devices too that can help ilke NeoGen PSR, RF microneedling, regular microneedling, PRP, the list can go on and on. When I look at this photo, from what I can see, you already look volumized and I would not want to add anymore volume to you so I wouldn't opt to inject ultra dilute radiesse or sculptra into your skin. Instead, I would go for PDO smoothing threads or some type of energy based device like NeoGen PSR to stimulate collagen, tighten the skin without adding more volume. I hope this answered your question. I wish you the very best on your aesthetics journey. ~Dr. Revivajennz

Answer: A Low Viscosity, Malleable, Cohesive HA Fillers Works Well For Lower Face "Accordion" Lines It is fine to combine the use of hyperdiluted Radiesse for one area and Voluma or other fillers in a separate location. I gave up the use of Radiesse several years ago when newer HA fillers came on the scene. The latter have the distinct advantage of being able dissolve them easily with an enzyme should the need ever arise, which is not the case with Radiesse, where no satisfactory dissolving enzyme currently exists. What's more, the results of using the appropriate HA filler product properly injected yields immediate, on-the-spot results, whereas, one must wait to see whether the Radiesse treatment will result in the desired improvement. You would be wise to make sure that consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatology filler expert. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Answer: Radiesse Discussing hyperdiluted Radiesse with your qualified healthcare professional is essential to determine its suitability for treating accordion lines while having Voluma fillers on your cheeks. Hyperdiluted Radiesse is sometimes used for skin quality improvement. Your provider can assess your specific needs, consider the existing fillers, and recommend the most suitable approach. They may suggest combining treatments or alternative options to achieve the desired results without compromising safety or effectiveness. Best of luck !
