Botched Radiesse lumps. Is there anything I can do to treat this? (Photo)

I am currently treating a patient who came to me following treatment elsewhere with Radiesse nodules in her face. I personally stopped using Radiesse several years ago when more robust and longer-lasting HA fillers (which can be dissolved with hyaluronidase whenever necessary) came to market. While unfortunately there is no enzyme for dissolving Radiesse (sodium thiosulfate does not work well, unfortunately), there is an algorithm of varying anti-inflammatory agents in varying concentrations and amounts that can be helpful in shrinking these. Additionally, subcision, to break up the nodules, combined with saline injections may also prove helpful. I hope this helps and best of luck.
