Deep scar from Lamprobe treatment - how can I get rid of it? (photos)

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

Really sorry that this has happened to you. Unfortunately, all too often Dr. Tik Tok & Dr. Instagram promote the supposedly "next big thing" aesthetic devices that have yet to prove their track record for safety and efficacy following use in large numbers of people. From the photos, there appears to be a well-defined indented scar that would be amenable to subcision, a relatively simple and inexpesnive technique that I have been using since 1995 for elevation and smoothing of all kinds of depressed scars. Back in the late 1980s already, it was known that the ideal window for treating scars was between weeks 8 and 12, a time when the tissue is strong enough to withstand treatment, but not yet a fully "matured" scar, which typically is less responsive to treatment. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best of luck.
