Congenital Ptosis Repair - mortality statistics from dataset?

Question

I need congenital ptosis repair (cosmetic but it's extensive). I won't without statistics as 1/10k vs 1/100k is a big difference for me. Anyone knows mortality data from any health registry so I can make an informed decision?

Overall, mortality associated with surgery is 0.5-1 per 100,000 operations. It is important to understand that spans a considerable range of patient conditions from the very healthiest undergoing elective surgery to the very sickest patients undergoing emergency surgery is the most dire of conditions. The mortality rate for older, sicker patients having higher risk surgery can be significant. Having said that, eyelid surgery, including ptosis surgery, are considered among the safest surgeries. While the risk is not zero, it is considered to be very low. Hope that helps.
