Had posterior double eyelid/bilateral ptosis surgery. Original eyes were symmetrically sleepy. Post op, left eye opens wider and causes muscle strain/migraines. Right eye is heavy/droops, can’t open fully from muscle tension. Asymmetry present post op but more obvious as swelling subsided. Left lash line peaks at certain angles. Doc suggests lowering left eye sutures in 6 months but thinks issue will resolve itself. Is this Herings Law or will my right eye open more while the left settles down?
