Eye dropping and tinnitus possbily related?

Question

6 years ago I got a blow to my right eye and got a black eye and minor swelling. Today my eyelid slightly droops and I have minor tinnitus in my right ear. Are these symptoms related, and if so, are they reversible?

Thank you for sharing your question. The ptosis is probably not related to the trauma since it developed 6 years following the incident. There are several methods to treat the eyelid problem. The tinnitus is not likely to be related to the ptosis. You should make appointments with an Oculoplastic Surgeon and Otolaryngologist for comprehensive evaluations of both problems. Good luck,
