Accutane causing symptoms or anxiety. Is this just anxiety or am I having an anaphylactic reaction?

I have just started a course of accutane at 20mg a day (I'm an 85kg male). I've been incredibly anxious about my skin of late, as I'm coming off the back of 10 years of more or less 99% clear skin from antibiotics, which recently stopped working, so i don't have the coping mechanisms that I had when I was 17. I've been placed on Accutane and have felt a lump in my throat after taking the pill on two of the three days that i've taken it. Is this just anxiety or am I having an anaphylactic reaction?

This is not anaphylaxis.   If your anxiety is worse since starting the medication,  it may be related to depression that the drug may trigger.   I strongly recommend that you hold the medication and get a psychiatric evaluation.   The right antidepressant may relieve your discomfort and allow you to complete the course. Hope you feel better.
