Post partum coolsculpting I am 6 weeks post partum and want to get a coolsculpting procedure done to my lower abdomen. I have 2 kids and after baby number 1, the tummy fat just wouldnt go away. I am done having kids and now want to show my body some love. I run 3/4 times a week and have started back running at the 1 month mark. I know most suggest waiting 3-6 months post partum but is there any real contraindication to coolsculpting earlier. I am breastfeeding currently.
Answer: Can you have CoolSculpting six weeks after you have a baby? Hello and thank you for your question. It is a best practice to wait a minimum of six months after you've had your baby, and one year if you've had a C-section. Also, we would wait until after you finish breastfeeding to begin any treatment. It sounds like you are on the right track and you may even need less treatments if you wait until the six month mark. Good luck and congratulations on your new baby!

Answer: Coolsculpting Hello, thank you for the question and for providing a photo. We typically recommend mothers to wait at least 6 months after giving birth to do Coolsculpting. With that said, based on your photo, it looks like you are a great candidate! Best of luck!

Answer: CoolSculpting Thank you for your message! CoolSculpting is a great procedure to help with stubborn fat that does not go away with diet and exercise alone. Based off of your pictures it appears you would be a candidate for the procedure, however an in person consultation is always recommended so we are able to pinch/pull the area. It is recommended waiting at least 6 months after having a baby vaginally and about 1 year after a C-section. You should not have the CoolSculpting procedure while you are breastfeeding either!

Answer: Wait to have CoolSculpting® post-partum. Congratulations on the new baby! While it's wonderful that you're already beginning to consider reclaiming your pre-baby physique, it's best to wait at least 6 months or until you stop breast feeding to have CoolSculpting®. This will allow your body ample time to recover from the trauma of childbirth and make sure that you can get the most out of the treatment. When you're ready, schedule a consultation to determine the best course of CoolSculpting to help you reach your post-baby goals.

Answer: It is best to wait 6 months to a year post-partum for abdominal procedures. Hi, and thank you for asking your question. Judging from your photo alone, it looks as if you may only be a potential candidate for CoolSculpting to address the post-partum abdominal fat that you’re referencing, but only after a period of at least 6 months. A licensed medical professional can let you know when your body is ready for such a procedure. They will give you a physical examination and determine whether or not CoolSculpting is the right option for you. Stick with running for now and try to be patient.

Answer: We would always recommend you wait for 6 months post birth and for you to have ceased breastfeeding... Hello and Congratulation on your new baby! We would always recommend you wait for 6 months post birth and for you to have ceased breastfeeding. After giving birth, we produce a hormone called Relaxin during pregnancy and even after childbirth, this hormpne can still be active up to 5 months post delivery. Relaxin can cause abdominal muscles to be at more risk of spraining or overstretching and as suction is applied during CoolSculpting, we should avoid the abdomen until we know this risk has disappeared. Other hormones will also be working to reduce and contract the size and shape of your stomach. Be patient for a little while and you can achieve a beautiful result! Thank you
