Hi @Straightforward1960. This is a great question. You are able to exercise prior to your Botox and dermal filler treatment. I would recommend waiting at least 24 hours after your treatment to resume exercise. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
It is fine for you to exercise prior to your Botox and filler treatment. However, you will want to wait 24 hours after your treatment before returning to exercise. Your injector can give you other pointers to help optimize your results.
There is no problem exercising before your treatment, although we recommend remaining well hydrated, and if you are exercising outside, be sure to use broad-spectrum SPF. We usually recommend waiting 24-48 hours after your injections to start exercising again. I recommend scheduling a consultation, and having all injections with, a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist who is an expert in facial rejuvenation techniques. In my practice we have more than 45 lasers that we use in combination with other treatment modalities, such as dermal fillers and Botox, to customize treatment plans for each of our patients.
Great question. There is no contraindication for exercising right before an injectable treatment. However, it is a good idea to wait a few hours after your procedure to participate in strenuous activity. Best wishes for a successful treatment!
Exercise immediately before having fillers or Botox is perfectly fine. However, it is a good idea to wait a few hours after these treatments to resume your workout program to minimize your risk of bruising or bleeding. Make sure you are working with a board-certified plastic surgeon who is also an expert injector to ensure the best possible results. Good luck to you!
I see no issue with exercising before getting filler or Botox, but I would not do it immediately beforehand. Getting injections an hour or so later is probably fine. I do tell my patients not to engage in any strenuous exercise for 4-6 hours after receiving their injections, and most commonly tell patients to wait until the next day before engaging in any strenuous activity. If you have questions or concerns, I would speak with your physician injector. All the best,
Thank You for your question. You can definitely work out before having botox & or filler done.Good LuckDr. Elliot Heller
We normally recommend no exercise post injections up to 24 hours. You can do as you normally do prior to injections. Good luck.
Facial exercisesare thought to be important to promote more efficient uptake of Botox. Soexercise would likely be great for your Botox. I don’t think that exercisewould affect your filler as long as your didn’t lean on the filler areas.
I would see no problem with a patient exercising immediately before having fillers and Botox injected.
