Will it remove freckle/age/sun spots? I am 50 yrs. and want to remove sun/age spots and freckles on face. IS it good for that? I have a lot of fillers and Botox which I love the results. WIll Sublative Rejuvenation interfere with fillers/Botox?
Answer: Sublative with fillers/Botox Hi, thanks for your question. Sublative will not affect your Botox or fillers, as long as you do them at different times (the length of time between depends on the which injections you are doing). However, Sublative is not very effective for brown spots. Sublative is a great treatment for textural concerns like fine lines, but IPL or a number of other lasers are more effective for the freckles and sun spots. Hope that helps.

Answer: You can combine eMatrix with Botox and fillers eMatrix is safe to use with Botox and fillers, but I would not inject them on the same day. The swelling of the skin after an eMatrix procedure could affect your Botox, and cause it to spread. The swelling could also make it harder to tell where to put filler. I did not get the sense from your question that you were doing them on the same day, though, and it is fine to use these treatments in combination! That said, I agree with Dr. Patel's answer that eMatrix is not the top treatment for brown pigment or redness of the skin. For that you want a laser treatment, and we usually use IPL. I have found that eMatrix improves pigmentation incidentally when we use it for wrinkles, but that is not its primary indication. We love eMatrix for skin resurfacing/rejuvenation, and love IPL for lightening and brightening. I hope you have a great result whatever you decide to do!

Answer: EMatrix treatments with Botox and fillers eMatrix treatments should not interfere with your Botox and filler treatments. However, you should notified the treating physician of your prior treatments. I would consider an IPL treatment for pigmentation and eMatrix to treat uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, and fine lines.

Answer: RF, eMatrix, lasers, rejuvenation and fillers - scientifically expanded. No it can not. My recent paper in Derm. Surgery will confirm studies based upon energy devices and many types of fillers. Fillers are sterilized at over 110degres celsius for over 7-12 minutes depending on the type of HA filler. Your skin is exposed to eMatrix energy at 67-69 degrees for only a milliseconds, not even a second. Placement of filler is way below your eMatrix. BTW - I do like eMatrix, but in context of skin rejuvenation, there are MUCH better laser treatments. All the best. Dr Davin Lim
