Can I have my septum repaired?

If your septum is obstructing your airway then you should have it straightened. Cartilage already used for grafting can be reused for future grafts. If your nose is already dry your surgeon needs to be cautious not to worsen the situation. You probably want a couple of opinions including a facial plastic surgeon who can correct the septum deep inside the nose and evaluate the valves and cartilage in the airway. Use someone who works with cartilage a lot.
