Will CPAP mask cause fillers or fat transfer to move after treatment?

If you give your fillers or fat enough time to set up prior to using your CPAP mask, should be around 48 hours for dermal fillers and about 2 weeks for fat transfer, then the pressure from your CPAP mask on your face should be of no consequence to the final result.  

The short answer is YES, pressure from a mask or something like ski-goggles after having a fat transfer or filler to the area can cause an indentation and move the material around. I have seen this with one of my patients. We were able to correct it, but it was a big bummer. So - if you wear a CPAP mask that will put pressure on a treatment area, you will need to find a temporary alternative. Although the exact time-frame to avoid pressure can vary, I recommend NO PRESSURE to the area for 3 to 14 days depending on treatment.
