Is it normal to have swollen gum and black triangles on every 10 veneers after 6 weeks?

Although such black triangles can occur after veneers, they can usually be avoided with careful and meticulous work.  The swelling of your gums should be gone after 6 weeks.  If your dentist is not addressing these issues to your satisfaction I suggest you seek out the services of an experienced cosmetic dentist ASAP for a 2nd opinion on how best to handle your situation.  You have done an excellent job with your photo's of documenting.  I am concerned about the appearance and conditions of your gums and would hate for you to have irreversible damage.Steven M. I think there must be something wrong with the treatment because it is not normal to have black triangles on veneers. You should see some other dentist for the treatment.
