Will Infini RF (lutronic) help for my eye-bag? (Photo)

Question

I have been recommended an Infini-treatment because it would help against fat and would dissolve it. Now I read here that -with correct use- Infini RF does not dissolve fat? So now I have my doubts about the treatment. Thanks for your answer The photo is of my left eye. The eye bag is worst in the morning and diminishes a bit during the day.

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser.  Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

The infini RF will not correct the eye puffiness. The puffiness is due to fat and must be removed surgically. The scion laser is a better device to tighten the lower eyelid skin and improve the wrinkles.

There are many things you can do to treat under eye bags, but a combination approach with nonsurgical treatments would give the most improvement: fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Fraxel/CO2), Renuvion (J-Plasma), microneedling/PRP, Cosmelan peels and stem cells. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat might be the best solution long-term. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to see what is best for you and your goals. This fat pocket is not treated with Infini. Only the skin is treated in this area with Infini. Nonsurgical options are Accutite and Agnes. Both use RF but are placing the energy much deeper. Surgery (Blepharoplasty) is fairly well tolerated in this area and I would consider a surgical consultation.
