9 months post FUE new hair growth is wavy and curly and doesn't resemble old hair. Will this be permanent?

I had 2300 fue hair transplant 9 months ago. The growth of new hair is fine however the new hair are wavy and curly and doesn't seems to resemble the old hair. will the new hair be fine afterward????
