Can I expect the pain in my nipple to go away after being pinched? Since then, my nipple stings when I laugh or cough.

I am embarrassed to even write this, but it is what it is. I obtained breast implants (300 ccs into the breast in question) in August of 2016. The surgery and recovery went well. I had no pain or sensitivity in either nipple. One month ago, my nipple was squeezed hard....too hard. It was NOT painful to the touch. Now it hurts even when I touch it. What is going on and could this be expected to heal on its own? Thank you so much.
