Do I need a lift? Or can I just get a breast augmentation without a lift? (Photo)

Whenever we look at breast characteristics we look for a centered position, where the projection of the breast is medial, where the projection of the upper part of the breast with respect to the lower part is equidistant and also that the characteristics of the volume are in accordance with the proportion of the body shape, you do not need a lift from what I can see in your pictures, a breast augmentation would be suitable. However having a board-certified plastic surgeon evaluate your case will help determine what you need taking into account patient desire look, characteristics and needs. Best wishes!! Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a great candidate for breast augmentation without the need for a lift. The size, projection and profile of the implant is typically a decision made together with your plastic surgeon who will examine you, take measurements and give you some options that best match your body. Based on the photographs you have provided, I would not recommend a lift. The pictures are a little limited so we would need to do a more complete exam to determine for sure.

The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or small implants can be placed totally submuscular.

Thank you for your question. It is best to be seen in person, but based on the photos alone it appears you would be a candidate for a breast augmentation alone, no need for a lift. Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Based on the limited views it does not appear that you would need a lift, an augmentation alone should provide a nice outcome.

You have very little sag to your breast. An implant around the size you mention will fill out the tissue enough that a lift isn’t needed.

Your photos suggest that a lift is not necessary. However I can't tell for sure without an examination. It's possible you are borderline but I don't think I would re on end a lift

Thank you for your question. It appears that you would not need a lift however, multiple factors need to be taken into consideration when addressing breast enhancement. In addition to volume, the position of the nipple/areola relative to the breast fold, and the laxity of the tissue envelope surrounding the breast mound need to be addressed. All this will require a full exam of your breast and measurement of certain landmarks before decision is made as whether a lift is necessary and what technique of lift would be beneficial.
