Neck pain after Botox.

I had botox for the first time 40 shots for TMJ. I ad terrible jaw pain which has subsided along with 25 days of headaches . One problem , My neck hurts so bad I cant lean over because my neck hurts/ Is this a side effect.No matter what I do it doesnt help.

No, that is not typical after Botox and most likely is due to something else.  The Botox usually starts working 1-2 weeks after the injection.

It is possible to have your Botox injections covered by insurance, but your insurance company will be able to better answer this question for you.

Botox for migraines will not interfere with accupuncture treatments and I would go ahead with the neurologist's recommendations to get it injected in your neck if he/she believe that it will help your symptoms.
