Is CoolSculpting for everybody? (Photos)

Question

I'm 36 years old 94 pound 4feet 10inch.. I have two boys 6 year and 4 year old. I'm active all day.. I don't do exercise everyday .. I stared exercise and stoped.. I have perfect weight based on my height.. I have a belly fat after kids., even before kids my belly wat not flat flat.. it's not lose it's hard fat.. should I do coolsculpting to lose belly fat?

It does not look from your photos that you have much fat.  CS is meant for fat destruction without surgery.  You might get a little improvement with CS.  in my experience patients like you have a profile like yours due to the babies, not so much fat, and so tightening the muscle is what's going to make it as flat as it can be, not liposuction or fat reduction with CS.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified.  I've attached a link where you can start your search.

CoolSculpting is a non- invasive body sculpting treatment that is designed to eliminate areas of stubborn subcutaneous fat. It is ideal for patients, just as yourself who are in good shape and of normal body weight (not obese) who are looking to target specific treatment areas. It works by freezing fat, thereby triggering a fat cell death process that evolves over 2-16 weeks. That being said, not everyone should be treated with CoolSculpting machine. It is important to be examined by a physician who can determine which body sculpting modality is best for you. For example, it is not uncommon after having babies to have an umbilical hernia ( a contraindication to CoolSculpting)  or lax skin that may be better treated using SculpSure or TruSculpt 3D. If you go to a place that only has CoolSculpting, that may be the only choice you are given, and it may not be the best. I would find the person nearest you who has the most knowledge and the most choices.

You asked an excellent question but it appears that you might have an abdominal hernia. An in office consultation is the only way to know for sure if you are a candidate and have "paintable" fat and not "hard" fat.  Please consult an expert in Coolsculpting to evaluate your options.  Best, Dr. Green

You might be a candidate although it doesn't look like there is much fatty tissue on your abdomen.Be clear that the stretch of the muscles of your lower abdomen will not be helped with coolsculpting

the answer to your question is no coolsculpting is not for everyone.  You must be able to pinch the fat in order for it to be treated.  Coolsculpting will not tighten loose or lax skin.  Looking at your photo it appears that you would be a good candidate for coolsulpting. We anticipate a 20-25% reduction in the fat with each treatmnent.
