Do I have Rhinophyma? If so, what can treat this?

Hello, as a previous Health Teacher, my research seems to show that I have a very mild version of Rhinopehyma. I had two Rhinoplasties to reduce the size of my nose; this was after my nose "ballooned" in size, but before the rough texture, leading to a possibly misdirected surgery / treatment course. Now that the rough texture /extreme pores have appeared, it is identical to starting cases of Rhinopehyma, but dermatologists aren't agreeing, only offering Micro-Needle procedures. Help and advice?

Fraxel and/or Co2 are best for resurfacing, but erbium is a good alternative. I always combine lasers with microneedling/(RF)prp for more robust outcomes. For skin tightening, I recommend a combination of ultherapy with RF treatments and sculptra for skin tightening. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

My suggestion base on my experience, is a full ablative laser resurfacing, in small step (sessions), to lower down the size of pores and help you to reduce the evident change on texture on your nose.
Erbium full ablative resurfacing can be a good option for you as is more superficial, down time can be less than 3-5 days. Redness and peeling can be expected on first 2 weeks.
4-6 weeks interval between session until improvement or treatments result satisfaction are achieve.
