Ill fitting CEREC crown feels too bulky: can dentist shave down portion of the tooth facing the inside of my mouth?

tom1920
I had a CEREC crown made and cemented yesterday. It feels fat on the inside, like a bubble, and it is rubbing my tongue when I talk. I have had many crowns, and none of them have ever felt like this. This feels more like a temporary crown or a piece of gum stuck on my tooth. Is is possible for the dentist to shave down the portion of the tooth facing the inside of my mouth?
