Is it normal to continue to have discomfort and sensitivity after a crown? I went to the dentist because my second to last bottom R molar had cold sensitivity and mild pain when I chewed. The dentist said a crown was necessary. The symptoms persist and are possibly slightly worse 1 weeks post crown. The dentist put my permanent crown in with temporary cement when I told him this. Are these symptoms that I should consult an endodontic surgeon about? Thank you very much.
