Should Nasal Hair Show After Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty does not make hair grow in your nose. It is probably more noticeable to you due to upward rotation of the tip.

Your assessment of your situation is likely spot-on.  These nasal hairs are probably more visible because:


your nostrils are different from before Rhinoplasty

your rotation and projection are likely different from before 

you are growing back hairs that were trimmed for the rhinoplasty 

you are likely being more attentive to your nose after your rhinoplasty than before and notice the hairs more.



During the healing period you may need to be more vigilant with grooming the hairs.

Continue your regular followups with your surgeon to discuss this as well.
